OUR STORY
Founded on a love of music and the precision of art.
Founded in 2008 by Bidyut Chakrabarty, Urban Raga was built on a simple belief: music should be accessible to everyone. Over 18 years, that belief has grown into a thriving performing arts institution that has welcomed aspiring musicians, hobby learners, and future professionals alike, offering everything from early childhood programs to internationally recognized certification pathways.
Today, Urban Raga is more than a music school. It’s a community of students, parents, educators, and artists united by a shared love for music, and a continuing mission to inspire confidence, creativity, and lifelong musical appreciation.
“Music does not ask you where you come from. It only asks how deeply you listen.”
